Recap some previously taught sounds – read the words

 

English: To create a creature (Oak National Academy)

Watch Miss Browne create her creature first.

Include head, body and limbs (maybe a tail & wings)

Add labels to your creature. Use adjectives and nouns to add more details.

 

Alternative Writing Task:

I can plan a pirate story.

Choose you character’s, Pirate ship, where they are going, why they are going there, what dangers they face and how they escape from trouble.

Recap some previously taught sounds – read the sentence and spot the digraphs already taught.

 

English: To develop my creature (Oak National Academy)

Create a habitat (where your creature lives)

Draw or write it down.

Think about the weather – What’s the weather like where your creature lives?

Where is your habitat? In a desert, mountains etc.?

Design your creature’s diet. What does it eat?

How do they catch their food?

How much food does your creature need to eat?
