Reading

Today we are using our retrieval skills. Can you read the sentences and answer true or false? If your answer is false explain how you know.

Vipers Tuesday

Phonics and Grammar

We are learning about exclamation sentences today. A exclamation sentence always starts with a 'how' or a 'what' and ends with an exclamation mark.

Spelling and Handwriting

Practice writing the word of the day in your neatest handwriting several times:

could

should

would

who

whole

Write today's sentence containing the word 'should'.

'We should share our sweets.'

I wonder if you can use your neatest handwriting to write your own sentence using the word of the day.

a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z

Why not practice your spellings by writing them in alphabetical order.

Top Tip: If the first letter of the word is the same as another word, we can look at the second or sometimes the third letter.

ENGLISH - PICTURE DESCRIPTION

Add the labels to the picture and find out the meaning of the new vocabulary.

I wonder what else you can see. Can you add your own labels?

You could even find out the following:

How many seasons are there?

How do the Acacia trees survive in the hot weather?

How much does it rain each year?
