Mass of objects
In Maths today Mrs Hambidge is going to show you how to compare the mass of some food items.
Take a look at the instruments above. Can you remember what they are called? To see if you are correct simply hover your mouse arrow over each picture. How many did you get right?
You can download and print the activity for today or you can create your as shown in the picture below. Take a look at all the instruments around the edge of the paper. How does a musician play them? Do they need to be struck, blown into, strummed or would they need a bow to make a sound?
Which instrument family would you put them into?
I wonder if you can use your listening ears to hear some of these instruments in one of Disney's Silly Symphonies. I particularly like 'The Band Concert' with Mickey Mouse, but you can choose whichever of these Silly Symphonies you prefer.
You will find the Silly Symphonies on the Kids YouTube app, make sure you ask your grown-up.
P.E
Physical Education is vitally important - try to aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity each day to keep your bodies healthy. You could go for a walk, a jog or a cycle. Maybe you even have a scooter?
If you choose to go outside, please stay within your local area and keep your distance from others.
