In 2015, Twin Sails Infant School and Hamworthy Park Junior School became a Federation, under the title, The Harbour View Federation.
This means that, whilst remaining two separate institutions, the schools are able to work closely together to ensure consistent, positive outcomes for the children across the Federation. The staff and joint governing body of the Federation work closely together to develop positive relationships and opportunities; common ethos and systems; and a smooth transition between the schools.
Both schools have academy status status and work within the Hillary Partnership. The Hillary Partnership is part of Hamwic Education Trust. The Hillary Partnership is dedicated to securing the very best outcomes for all pupils and works collegiately with Bearwood Primary School, Springdale First School, Upton Infant, Upton Junior and Lytchett Minster Primary schools.
