The PTA organises activities to enrich the children's school experiences and raise money for the school. Everything we raise goes towards helping the children in some way. Here are some of the things that we were involved with in the 2017/2018 academic year...
Get involved by becoming part of our PTA ! Come along to one of our friendly meetings to share ideas and plan upcoming activities. Don't worry if you can't regularly make meetings, even if you can spare an hour or two here and there we would be grateful of the support so please do get in touch!

The school is looking for more reading material for our children, so we've been tasked with sourcing some. Last year we received some lovely donations from various publishers and book suppliers, this year we're asking parents to help.
If you have any good quality reading books you no longer want, please pop them along to the school office. These will be sorted and those suitable for school put into circulation. Those not quite making the cut will be added to the PTA's book stall at the summer fayre.
Our uniform sales this year have raised over £110 for the school. We will run more "preloved sales" later on in the year. Please keep your donations coming if you have any good quality uniform that you no longer need.
If you have a specific need outside of the uniform sale dates, contact Natalie Wines through the school office, email@example.com, and she will see if we have anything suitable.
The school are looking for more parents readers. These parents give up a small amount of their spare time (perhaps a morning or afternoon a week) and will sit with a select number of children, reading with them on a one-to-one basis. There is no teaching requirement, you don't even have to understand phonics to do this, they just need people to listen to them read. If they encounter a word they can't sound out (and you can't either!) just tell them the word and move on.
If you would like to do this contact the school office for more details, firstname.lastname@example.org
Summer Fayre 2018
Including £1000 matched funding from Barclays we raised a whopping record-breaking £4277.88 - well done everyone!
A big thank you must go to Papa Johns for donating 300 pizzas to us, Sainsburys for donating 100 bottles of water and Tesco for running a strawberries and cream stall and donating the monies raised to us. THANK YOU!!
We were very lucky to receive some new books from a publishing company. We were asked to review them so that the publisher could include the reviews on the website.
Imogen Stanning in Jellyfish read the book over the Easter holiday. See what she has to say about the book... maybe you would like to read it too.
